A family tradition since 1990 and the largest holiday event on the East Coast, Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Festival of Trees features more than 500 ornately decorated trees, wreaths and gingerbread houses designed by local artists.

The Cow Palace at the Maryland State Fairgrounds is transformed into a magical winter wonderland with activities for the entire family. Festival of Trees offers hourly live family entertainment, holiday shopping, the ever-popular train garden and SantaLand – complete with a carousel, Wii competitions for children of all ages and an expanded three-hole miniature golf course.

Proceeds from Festival of Trees benefit the Kennedy Krieger Institute, appropriately marking the beginning of the holiday season by giving the gift of hope to the thousands of children treated at Kennedy Krieger.
